1. Tell me about your pet and what you'd like in the commissioned artwork
Just send me at least 3 different photos of your pet. Feel free to tell me anything about them: fun quirks, favorite spots, or special moments you want to remember. The more details, the better!
2. Free sketch before you commit
I will create a free black-and-white sketch for you to see the complete idea, and you decide to proceed with the final commissioned piece only after reviewing and approving the design.
3. Creation time
Once you approve the sketch, I will start working on your commissioned piece. You'll receive a detailed timeline for the completion.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q: How can I order a custom artwork? A: Just fill out the contact form and upload clear photos of your pet. Let me know your preferences for the portrait as well. I'll get in touch with you and start designing a free sketch, which doesn't commit you to anything. Once you approve the sketch, I'll provide you with detailed infromation about the completion time for the final painting.
Q: Can the portrait include more than one animal? A: Yes! I can create a portrait with multiple animals. For the best result, I recommend a medium-sized piece for 2-3 animals, and a large-sized piece for 5 or more animals. This ensures that every animal gets the attention to detail it deserves.
Q: How does the payment work? A: Once you've approved the sketch, you'll receive a booking invoice for 10% of the total price. This secures your spot and will be deducted from the final amount. When the portrait is finished, I'll send you the final invoice. As soon as the payment is received, your artwork will be ready for shipping. If the order is cancelled after the artwork is completed, the booking fee is non-refundable, as it covers materials costs and part of the work already done.
Q: How will the custom artwork be delivered and are shipping costs included? A: International shipping: For larger pieces (over 70x80cm), the artwork will be shipped rolled up to ensure safer shipping. Smaller paintings will be shipped ready to hang. Shipping within Finland: All paintings are shipped ready to frame. Shipping costs are not included in the price and vary between 7-50 EUR, depending on the size and destination. If you're in the Helsinki metropolian area, you can enjoy free home shipping or choose to pick up your artwork at a pre-arranged time in Lähderanta, Espoo.
Q: How long does it take to complete a custom artwork? A: The time it takes depends on my current booking queue, the size of the artwork, and how many pets are included in the portrait. I can give you a precise completion time once we discuss your order. Generally, smaller pieces take about week, while large ones may take over a month.
