A Herd Of Elephants

I have always loved colors bright, saturated tones. The more color, the more inspiring it is to me.

Last year, I went through a difficult period, and it showed in my art. The tones in my work shifted to brownish grays, but they still lived and told my story, my emotions.

When a life change happened, the colors returned, deeper and stronger. My art came alive again. Full of color.

I remember hearing the saying: “Art is what you are.” It’s absolutely true. Art reflects our experiences.

And so this elephant painting was born. Something that could not have emerged at any other moment.

The painting is based on a photo I took myself during a safari in Ngorongoro, Tanzania, which I visited in the winter of 2022.
